喷淋淬火对NM500钢组织与性能的影响

Effect of water spray quenching on microstructure and properties of NM500 steel

摘要: 采用淬火机对NM500钢板进行不同工艺参数设置的喷淋淬火,研究了不同淬火工艺下NM500钢的硬度、低温冲击性能以及显微组织的变化规律,并用黑匣子试验测试了最优淬火工艺下钢板不同位置的冷速。结果表明,在淬火机总水量一定的条件下,采用双缝隙淬火,将更多的水量分配至缝隙1,并适当降低辊速,可以增强钢板的瞬时冷却能力,得到相对更高的硬度和低温冲击性能。结合NM500钢的显微组织、CCT曲线和现场黑匣子试验验证,证明采用最优喷淋淬火工艺时,钢板的表面、1/4厚度和心部冷速接近NM500钢的马氏体临界冷速,从表面到心部可以得到全马氏体组织。

Abstract: Water spray quenching of NM500 steel plate with different process parameters was carried out by using quenching machine. The hardness, low temperature impact properties and microstructure of the NM500 steel plate under different quenching processes were studied, and the cooling rate at different positions of the steel plate under the optimal quenching process was measured by black box test. The results indicate that with a constant total water volume for the quenching machine, adopting a double-slot quenching method, distributing more water to slot 1 and appropriately reducing the roll speed, the instantaneous cooling capacity of the steel plate can be significantly enhanced, thereby achieving higher hardness and low temperature impact property. Further verification through microstructure observation, CCT curve of the NM500 steel and on-site black box test confirms that when using the optimal quenching process, the cooling rates of the steel plate surface, quarter thickness and core is close to martensitic critical cooling rate of the NM500 steel, resulting in a fully martensitic structure from the surface to the core of the steel plate.
