Effect of post weld heat treatment on fatigue life of K-welded joint in tower crane

摘要: 为了评估残余应力及焊后热处理对塔式起重机疲劳寿命的影响程度,以塔机疲劳危险位置焊接节点为研究对象,建立了带有焊缝结构的K型焊接管节点模型,对其进行了基于生死单元法的焊接温度场、应力场模拟计算。研究了焊后热处理对焊接节点残余应力的影响。通过名义应力法对不同热处理工况下结构的疲劳寿命进行评估。结果表明,焊后热处理可以有效降低残余应力,残余应力下降速率随着热处理温度升高而降低。在考虑残余应力的情况下,结构疲劳寿命大幅下降,焊后热处理可在一定程度上提高结构的疲劳寿命。

Abstract: In order to evaluate the effects of residual stress and post-welding heat treatment on the fatigue life of tower crane, a K-shaped welded pipe joint model with welded joint structure was established based on the welded joints at the fatigue-prone location of tower crane fatigue. The temperature field and stress field of the welded parts were simulated by the life-death element method. The effect of post-welding heat treatment on the residual stress of welded joints was studied. The fatigue life of structures under different heat treatment conditions was evaluated by nominal stress method. The results show that post-welding heat treatment can effectively reduce the residual stress, and the reduction rate of residual stress decreases with the increase of heat treatment temperature. Considering the residual stress, the fatigue life of the structure is obviously reduced, and the post-welding heat treatment can improve the fatigue life of the structure to a certain extent.
