导体性能研究平台Nb3Sn线圈的热处理

Heat treatment of Nb3Sn coil for conductor performance research platform

摘要: 超导导体试验测试平台(Super-X)是聚变工程综合研究设施(CRAFT)的重要部分,用于评估未来超导导体的性能。Super-X试验设备的超导磁体均由Nb3Sn线圈组成,线圈制造过程为“先绕制,后热处理”。设计并搭建了用于Nb3Sn线圈热处理的氩气保护气氛热处理系统,并成功完成了低场线圈的热处理,其热处理温度均匀性满足±5 ℃的要求,线圈杂质气体含量小于10 mg/L,炉体杂质气体含量小于30 mg/L。热处理后的随炉样品性能全部满足预期目标,线圈热处理前后畸变量小于2 mm。

Abstract: Superconducting conductor experimental testbed (Super-X) is an important part of the comprehensive research facility for fusion engineering (CRAFT), and is used to evaluate the performance of future superconducting conductors. The superconducting magnet of the Super-X test facility consists of Nb3Sn coils, which are fabricated by“winding & heat treatment”. An argon protective atmosphere heat treatment system for Nb3Sn coil heat treatment was designed and built, and successfully completed the heat treatment of low field coil. The uniformity of heat treatment temperature meets the requirement of ±5 ℃, the impurity gas content of coil is less than 10 mg/L, and the impurity gas content of furnace is less than 30 mg/L. The properties of the furnace specimens after heat treatment all meet the expected goals, and the distortion of the coil before and after heat treatment is less than 2 mm.
