Microstructure and properties of TA15 alloy plate prepared by different processes

摘要: 研究了轧制生产过程中淬火和不淬火对TA15合金板材组织与性能的影响。结果表明:热轧不能充分破碎原始锻造态组织,在α+β相区多次热轧制备的TA15钛合金板强度较高,1.5 mm薄板由等轴状α相和转变β相及少量球状β相组成。一火轧制后淬火有利于制备强塑性匹配更好的薄板,粗大淬火组织经热轧后形成了长条和等轴再结晶组织,冷轧后的成品薄板由等轴α相+球状β相组成,成品钛板强度稍低但塑性更好。

Abstract: Effects of quenching and without quenching during the rolling producing process on microstructure and mechanical properties of TA15 alloy were investigated. The results indicate that the primary forged microstructure cannot be completed broken by hot rolling process, and the TA15 titanium alloy plate has high strength after repeatedly hot rolling during α+β phase region, while the 1.5 mm plate is composed of the equiaxial α phase and transformed β phase as well as some globular β phase. The quenching after one fire rolling facilitates to obtain the TA15 alloy plate with better strength and plasticity matching, and the coarse quenched microstructure transforms into elongated and equiaxial recrystallized microstructure after repeatedly hot rolling. After cold rolling, the finished plate is composed of equiaxial α phase and globular β phase, which has lower strength and better plasticity.
