显微组织对6061锻造轮毂表面切削性能的影响

Effect of microstructure on surface cutting property of 6061 forged wheel hub

摘要: 利用直读光谱仪、光学轮廓仪、扫描电镜、金相显微镜、维氏硬度计和电导率仪对两件有/无加工痕迹的6061铝合金轮毂进行成分、表面粗糙度、表面形貌、显微组织、维氏硬度、电导率对比分析,研究显微组织对6061铝合金锻造轮毂表面切削性能的影响。结果表明,两件轮毂的化学成分相近且均符合要求,轮毂机加工后的表面痕迹是由其硬度低造成。相较无加工痕迹的轮毂,有加工痕迹的轮毂表面粗糙度更大,扫描电镜下可见铝屑堆积形貌;在热处理过程中回溶程度不够,残留了大量的微米级Mg2Si化合物,使其时效后起析出强化作用的Mg2Si相数量减少,导致硬度偏低,使其表面存在明显的机加工痕迹。

Abstract: Comparative analysis of composition, surface roughness, surface morphology, microstructure, Vickers hardness and conductivity of two 6061 aluminum alloy wheel hubs were tested by using direct reading spectrometer, optical profiler, scanning electron microscope, metallographic microscope, Vickers hardness tester and conductivity meter. The influence of microstructure on the surface cutting property of the 6061 aluminum alloy forged wheel hub was studied. The results show that the chemical composition of wheel hub 1 and wheel hub 2 is similar and both meet the requirement. The surface marks of the wheel hub after machining are caused by its low hardness. Compared with the wheel hub without machining marks, the surface roughness of the wheel hub with machining marks is greater, and aluminum scrap accumulation morphology can be seen under scanning electron microscope. During the heat treatment, the degree of re-dissolution is not enough, and a large number of micron-sized Mg2Si compounds remain, which leads to the decrease of the number of Mg2Si phase precipitated strengthened after aging, resulting in low hardness and obvious machining marks on its surface.
