脉冲磁场对TC18钛合金时效过程中组织和性能的影响

Effect of pulsed magnetic field on microstructure and properties of TC18 titanium alloy during aging

摘要: 在TC18钛合金的时效阶段施加脉冲磁场,并通过观察和分析形核和长大过程,研究脉冲磁场对TC18钛合金析出行为的影响。采用扫描电镜和拉伸试验机来研究脉冲磁场对TC18钛合金在时效过程中微观组织、强度和塑性的影响。结果表明,施加脉冲磁场可以显著提高TC18钛合金的析出速度,从而缩短了时效所需的时间,且力学性能有所提高。相较于未施加脉冲磁场时效处理4 h,施加脉冲磁场时效处理1 h可以使TC18钛合金的伸长率提高15%,同时抗拉强度也有所提高。通过脉冲磁场的作用,加速了TC18钛合金的时效进程,使其提前3 h进入过时效阶段。在TC18钛合金的时效过程中,脉冲磁场通过提高原子的扩散系数,促进了次生相的析出和生长。

Abstract: A pulsed magnetic field was applied to TC18 titanium alloy during aging, and the effect of pulsed magnetic field on the precipitation behavior of the TC18 titanium alloy was investigated by observing and analyzing the nucleation and growth processes. The effect of pulsed magnetic field on the microstructure, strength and plasticity of the TC18 titanium alloy during the aging process was investigated by means of scanning electron microscope and tensile testing machine. The results show that the application of pulsed magnetic field can significantly increase the precipitation rate of the TC18 titanium alloy and thus shorten the aging time and improve the mechanical properties. Compared to 4 h of aging without pulsed magnetic field, 1 h of aging with pulsed magnetic field can increase elongation of the TC18 titanium alloy by 15%, and the tensile strength is also improved. The aging process of the TC18 titanium alloy is accelerated by the action of pulsed magnetic field, so that it enters the over-aging stage 3 h earlier. During the aging process of the TC18 titanium alloy, the pulsed magnetic field promotes the precipitation and growth of the secondary phases by increasing the diffusion coefficient of the atoms.
