Effect of deformation heat treatment on microstructure and properties of Cu-6Ni-3Ti alloy

摘要: 采用X射线衍射仪(XRD)、扫描电镜(SEM)和透射电镜(TEM)对Cu-6Ni-3Ti合金形貌和成分进行表征,研究了形变热处理对合金组织与性能的影响。结果表明,铸态合金组织呈明显的树枝状结构,主要由α-Cu和CuNiTi相组成,热处理后合金硬度显著降低;随着冷变形量的增加,时效后合金的导电率显著升高,但也导致峰值硬度后合金的硬度大幅降低;90%变形量+450 ℃时效2 h 后,合金的硬度与导电率分别为203 HV0.5和52%IACS。

Abstract: Morphology and composition of Cu-6Ni-3Ti alloy were characterized by means of X-ray diffractometer(XRD), scanning electron microscope(SEM) and transmission electron microscope(TEM). The effect of deformation heat treatment on microstructure and properties of the alloy was studied. The results show that microstructure of the as-cast alloy is dendritic and mainly composes of α-Cu and CuNiTi phases. The hardness of the alloy decreases significantly after heat treatment. With the increase of cold deformation, the conductivity of the alloy increases significantly after aging, but the hardness of the alloy decreases greatly after peak hardness. After aging at 450 ℃ for 2 h with 90% deformation, the hardness and conductivity of the alloy are 203 HV0.5 and 52%IACS, respectively.
