50CrV4钢垫圈开裂原因分析

Analysis on cracking of 50CrV4 steel washer

摘要: 采用扫描电镜、能谱分析仪、光学显微镜和火花直读光谱仪等设备,观察和检测了50CrV4钢垫圈失效件的断口形貌、显微组织及化学成分等。检测结果表明,由于垫圈原材料存在成分偏析,碳化物在晶界处偏聚,造成局部应力集中。淬火冷却时,在应力作用下垫圈产生沿晶裂纹,后续使用过程中,裂纹在外力作用下进一步扩展,提前失效。

Abstract: Appearance of fracture, metallurgical structure and chemical composition of the failed 50CrV4 washer were observed or tested by means of SEM, EDS, OM and spark direct reading spectrometer, respectively.The test results show that carbide segregation occurred due to the chemical composition segregation of washer raw materials causes local stress concentration. During quenching and cooling, intergranular cracks appear in the washer under the stress. During subsequent use, the cracks further expand under the action of external force and lead to the earlier failure.
