Abstract: Heat-treatable aluminum alloys can obtain higher mechanical properties through aging strengthening, but the aging strengthening behavior of the alloys is affected by many factors. The effects of temperature, pre-deformation, thermomechanical treatment, applied stress and applied electric field on alloy precipitation kinetics and strengthening behavior are summarized. Through reviewing and analyzing the influencing factors, it is hoped to provide the theoretical basis for the design and preparation of high-strength aluminum-lithium alloys.
