Abstract: To investigate the influence of carburizing temperature, carburizing time, quenching temperature and other parameters on distortion and hardness during the carburizing and quenching process of 18Cr2Ni4WA steel bevel gear, Deform software was used to simulate the gear carburizing and quenching process. Based on the response surface method, the interaction effect of process parameter combinations on distortion and tooth surface hardness was studied. The significance of the established target response surface model was tested, and the optimal process parameter combination was obtained through response surface optimization. A control group was set up to verify its accuracy through simulation.
